What If My Vehicle Fails?

If you’re unlucky this time around and your car doesn’t pass its test, we have courtesy cars available for you to use while yours is repaired and retested.

Do I Need Any Documents For An MOT?

My MOT Has Expired, Can I Drive My Car To The Garage For The Test?

If your vehicle does not have an up-to-date certificate, you can only drive it to and from a pre-arranged test appointment. You can be fined up to £1,000 for driving without a valid MOT.

What Happens If I Fail My MOT Test?

You will be given a reason why your car failed the MOT. If necessary, make sure you book your car in for any remedial work and rebook your test. If you are having repairs done after failing the test, you will only be allowed to drive your car to a pre-arranged appointment.
